Working closely with the Philanthropy Managers, and the Trust Lead, you will lead the teams to secure, and grow, vital funding from philanthropic and trust sources to support the welfare of dogs and cats across the UK and internationally. The role currently leads a team of 7, which will continue to develop over the coming years.

The postholder will drive forward the Philanthropy & Trusts strategy as well as oversee KPI development and measurement, and budgets for the teams. The role is also responsible for growing the prospect and donor pools for both Philanthropy & Trusts and ensuring that the team’s donor development plans reflect best practice in cultivation, solicitation and stewardship.

The post will work closely with colleagues across the organisation, but in particular with the Head of Philanthropy, Partnerships & Commercial, the Senior Corporate & Commercial Partnerships Manager, the Senior Fundraising Operations Manager and the Special Events & Stewardship Manager, to collaborate on joint projects and ensure contacts are shared to maximise all opportunities.

Are you a strategic events professional, with experience of leading high value engagement activity in the charitable sector?

What does this role do?
As High Value Events Manager, you'll:

• provide strategic oversight of an allocated portfolio of flagship, bespoke and stewardship events for high value audiences, ensuring activity is well planned, of exceptional quality and aligned with wider income and engagement objectives.

A brand-new weekly lottery is at the heart of these plans, and we are looking for a Lottery & Raffle Campaign Manager to help us launch it — and shape the future of fundraising at Woodgreen.

This is a rare opportunity to launch a charitable lottery from the ground up. You’ll work closely with our External Lottery Manager (ELM) and lead Woodgreen through to our first weekly draw. Alongside the lottery, you’ll take ownership of our raffle programme — which has just gone through a successful transformation and continues to grow — and bring the two products together into one thriving gaming programme.

You will:

• Lead the end-to-end implementation of our Weekly Lottery, from setup and compliance through to launch and beyond.
• Manage Woodgreen’s relationship with the External Lottery Manager, ensuring the programme runs compliantly and effectively.
• Take day-to-day ownership of the raffle programme, building on its recent transformation and growing it as part of an integrated gaming offer.
• Project manage direct marketing campaigns across direct mail and digital, from briefing through to evaluation, using data and insight to optimise performance.
• Partner with our Acquisition team on player recruitment across Face-to-Face, paid media and other channels.
• Ensure full compliance with Gambling Commission regulations, the Gambling Act 2005, LCCP obligations and Fundraising Codes of Practice.
• Support budget setting, monitoring and evaluation, interrogating results to inform future campaigns.

Bringing significant experience of managing a charity lottery or raffle programme, alongside substantial experience of developing and delivering direct marketing campaigns you will have strong project and budget management skills, and a detailed working knowledge — or a real appetite to build one — of large society lottery compliance, including responsible gambling and marketing rules.

Above all, you will be genuinely analytical, comfortable working with data, confident interrogating campaign results, and skilled at spotting the patterns that drive better decisions. You will use insight to challenge assumptions — including your own — and to keep raising the bar on what your campaigns deliver.  Organised and comfortable juggling multiple priorities, you will be a confident communicator at ease briefing agencies and working across teams, someone who cares about doing things properly: brand, compliance and supporter experience all matter equally.

This full time, permanent opportunity will operate in a hybrid working environment and although much of it can be done remotely our successful candidate must be able to attend our offices near Godmanchester, Cambridgeshire (PE29 2NH) for an average of 1-2 times per month dependent on business need.

The starting salary for this position is £36,665 - £44,812 per annum depending on experience.  This is complemented by;

We’re looking for a Legacy Campaign Manager, who will be responsible for delivering multiple legacy products, with a particular focus on delivering a first-class stewardship programme to our loyal supporters. 

What does this role involve?
As Legacy Campaign Manager, you will:

• work closely with external agencies to deliver key legacy products, including gifts in wills, In Memoriam gifts and our Canine Care Card,
• collaborate with other teams in the Individual Giving directorate to deliver an excellent supporter journey to all those who donate, from handling individual responses to delivering stewardship events,
• creatively bring our brand message to life, helping supporters understand the impact of their loyalty,
• monitor and analyse outcomes from projects, being on the ball and proactively identifying ways to improve and accelerate supporter experiences.

Could this be you?
To be successful in this role, you’ll need some fundraising experience, ideally with experience in legacy or in memory donations. • link the rehoming centre with supporters in the local community, developing relationships with local individuals, businesses, community groups and clubs,

To do this, you’ll need excellent communication skills and be able to confidently approach and interact with supporters. While you’ll be a key part of the rehoming centre team, you’ll be regularly be working independently, so strong organisational skills and a proactive approach is essential.

This role is based at the rehoming centre, and the post holder will spend lots of time in the community meeting supporters. The working pattern is typically Monday and Tuesdays, but flexibility is required and is likely to involve some evening and weekend work, depending on the nature of the work.

Job purpose

We are seeking a strategic, collaborative and experienced Head of income and partnerships to drive forward and deliver our plans for income growth and diversification in line with our 5-year organisational strategy.

This is a new, pivotal role at a defining moment for the organisation. As we evolve our operating model and ambitions, you will lead the development of a more diverse, sustainable and innovative income portfolio, ensuring we can continue to grow our impact in advancing the quality of veterinary care for the benefit of animals, the public and society.

Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with your senior team colleagues, you will develop and implement our income generation strategy, unlocking opportunities across industry partnerships, trust and foundations and individual giving.

We’re looking for someone who is both strategically minded and comfortable with hands-on delivery, and who will take a proactive approach to building our income-generating capacity from the ground up.

Key responsibilities

Strategy and leadership

• Play a key role in developing and refining our income strategy to meet our organisational strategy and priorities
• Take a leadership role in income generation, collaborating with colleagues to identify and take forward opportunities for income generation and partnerships
• Advise the CEO and senior team on growth opportunities and strategic partnerships while providing coaching, guidance and support to the team on best practice in developing successful partnerships to generate income
• Encourage cross-team collaboration on income opportunities
• Work with the CEO and the rest of the senior team to set the annual business plan and budget, and monitor delivery and performance

Delivery

• Build, manage and deliver a pipeline of opportunities across multiple income streams, with a primary focus on industry partnerships, trusts and foundations, and the development of individual giving.

• Develop and secure high-value partnerships with carefully selected industry partners in line with our partnerships policy. Oversee stewardship of partners to develop successful strategic relationships in both the short and long term

• Work with senior team colleagues, clinical leads and other team members to develop compelling, outcome-driven cases for support
• Explore and support potential opportunities for income generation in other areas such as public sector and earned income.

Performance and compliance

• Monitor and report on progress towards KPIs and income targets
• Create and enhance systems, processes and tools to develop the charity’s income-generation capability
• Ensure compliance with fundraising regulation and best practice
• Work with finance colleagues on forecasting, reporting and income tracking.

Person specification

Essential

• Substantial experience leading income‑generation activity, including developing strategies, building pipelines and securing income across multiple streams
• Strong track record of developing and stewarding high‑value partnerships that deliver income and impact
• Experience personally leading successful bids, proposals and pitches
• Confidence operating both strategically and hands‑on within a small or medium-sized organisation
• Strong senior‑level stakeholder‑management skills and the ability to translate organisational strengths into compelling cases for support
• Solid financial literacy, including budgeting, forecasting and income tracking
• Clear understanding of best practice, governance and ethical considerations in income generation

Desirable

Yorkshire Wildlife Trust is one of the UK’s fastest growing nature conservation organisations and seeks to appoint a 12-month maternity cover Grants Officer.

Yorkshire Wildlife Trust is seeking a motivated and organised Grants Officer to help secure vital funding for nature's recovery across Yorkshire. Working closely with the Grants Manager and colleagues across the Trust, you will research funding opportunities, develop compelling grant applications and manage relationships with trusts, foundations and other grant-making organisations. This is an exciting opportunity to play a direct role in supporting conservation, community engagement and wildlife recovery projects across the region.

You will manage a portfolio of grant applications and reports, identifying and developing new funding opportunities while maintaining excellent relationships with existing funders. Working collaboratively with teams across the organisation, you will gather project information, develop persuasive funding proposals, coordinate reporting and stewardship activities, and maintain accurate records of fundraising activity. You will contribute to achieving fundraising targets and help ensure funding opportunities align with the Trust's strategic priorities.

We are looking for someone with excellent written communication skills and the ability to present complex information in a clear, compelling and engaging way. You will have experience of researching, writing or supporting funding applications, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. You should be confident building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and working collaboratively across teams. Experience of fundraising, grant-making trusts and foundations, project development, CRM databases or the environmental, charitable or conservation sector would be advantageous. • Lead the implementation of our exciting new community fundraising strategy, bringing our enthusiastic fundraisers across the country around a common goal that promotes our brand locally, embeds our work in local communities, and ultimately drives targeted income growth through donations and legacies,
• Lead the mass participation fundraising team to deliver a high-quality national event portfolio, generating income, amplifying the Dogs Trust brand and growing our national presence,
• Act as a link between directorate strategy and local delivery, ensuring delivery teams locally understand how their fundraising contributes to wider strategic goals and objectives,
• Collaborate with various other teams across Dogs Trust, from marketing and communications to rehoming centre teams, ensuring there is central alignment, and opportunities for collaboration are maximised.

This role can be based at any of our rehoming centres and will involve frequent travel to rehoming centres around the UK. Interviews are provisionally scheduled for 25th June 2026, and will take place on Teams.

To be successful in this role, you’ll have a proven track record in leading community fundraising teams, with the ability to drive performance to deliver income growth. You’ll need experience of managing people, ideally remotely, as this role looks after a large team working from all corners of the UK. You’ll be confident working closely with senior stakeholders, negotiating and influencing, as well as the ability to deliver effective change management, ensuring teams understand the strategic vision and are motivated to deliver it. Above all, you’ll be passionate about fundraising and the work we do, and the ability to champion the amazing work our mass participation and community fundraising teams do.

Responsibilities of our Income Processing Team Leader

• To lead the team of Supporter Services Advisors, who are responsible for managing fundraising income processing, the efficient coding and allocation of fundraising income, and the accurate creation and maintenance of supporter records.

What we’re looking for in our Income Processing Team Leader:

• Demonstrable experience of line managing staff including setting objectives, managing performance, conduct, staff development, induction and training in line with organisational policies

We are seeking a Supporter Services Administrator to join World Horse Welfare's Fundraising Supporter Services team based at our Head Office in Snetterton, Norfolk on a 12 month fixed-term basis, working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm.

This role is key in providing excellent customer service to the charity’s supporters, processing all charity income efficiently, and maintaining the supporter database to the highest standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Supporter Care & Communication

• Provide high‑quality customer care across all channels, including telephone orders, donations, membership and general enquiries.

• Answer all supporter queries professionally and within agreed timeframes.

• Ensure supporters receive the correct communications in response to their donations.

• Produce timely and accurate thank‑you letters.

Income Processing & Administration

• Browse, create, amend and allocate payments to supporter records using data processing systems.

• Reconcile income with daily income sheets.

• Allocate income and produce daily income reports.

• Take Direct Debits over the telephone in line with DD Scheme legal requirements.

• Administer all charity income paid by Direct Debit.

• Process payments received from third‑party agencies (e.g., JustGiving).

Database & Record Management

• Create and maintain accurate supporter records on the charity’s CRM system.

• Liaise across the charity to ensure all agreed stakeholders are administered effectively and efficiently.

Fundraising Support

• Assist the fundraising team with administration and fulfilment of supporter products, including merchandise sales and the individual giving programme.

General Administration

• Sort and open Head Office post in line with service level agreements and standard operating procedures.

We have an experienced team of 13 staff in place across the Charity. They are passionate about caring for the dogs and finding suitable loving homes for them in the next stage of their lives.
